This is going to get very nasty very soon, and we’ll be paying for it. There’s been a sense of loss of interest in the war these past few weeks despite Zelenskyy pumping the PR machine, not quite sure where this will end up.

Well, I expect either side of it, most want it to be over and forgotten about now. The benefits are getting thin for all involved, outside of the country inflicted upon who simply want to keep their country, or rather, its land and the people’s cultural history within each of those villages and cities. My feeling is that it’s going to be wrapping up time before it’s muddy and wintery again, given that place is particularly muddy and difficult. End game, IMO.

I can’t see Putin withdrawing from Ukraine now and if he prevails all hell is going to break loose in the West. Now Ukraine are moving on Crimea thinking western help is endless, forgetting we dropped them in it before with Russia.

What do you think he’ll do, though? In order to make any of it worthwhile, it looks like he’d have to outright kill everyone there, and he knows he can’t nuke the place as it renders it all worthless and starves countries of resources. I don’t foresee aide stopping, as long as it keeps making the Russian military weaknesses clear, but it has to stop somewhere too. $3B just got approved to pay for that aide.
This is interesting. I feel like we’ll end up with countries that are fully capable of holding their own and therefore diving in and doing special projects like these will need a rethink.

Africa, Brazil, N Korea, China have all come out in support of Russia, Unless a deal can be reached where Putin saves face this could go on for years ever weakening the West. Russia has far less to loose, they do seem to be playing the cope card rather well.
Arming Africa with modern weapons seems a tad mental and likely to exasperate the situation, more refugees/migrants, less wealth, more instability…really it’s a complete shit show just waiting to happen.

Go on the offensive and at best force a stalemate, or, take the pacifist route and bow to your master. There’s little meaningful in between it’ll always going to end up with one or the other. Everything else is just stalling..

Uganda and Chad are both pro Russian plus 16 other countries who won’t need more than the smallest of nudges. The Russia/Africa talks start next month 6 weeks before the US get a shot. China and Russia are both invested heavily in Africa and have been for the past 30 years.

No, but people wont think that way, the press have already started pushing stories of corruption and weapons going missing to the black market in Ukraine. Along with the migrant crisis on our door step, I tells ya shit’s gonna hit the fan.
