I got that thing for microwaving baked potatoes. It’s great, I used it 3 times, and now I can’t be bothered with it.
I just buy microwavable jacket potatoes
I’m beginning to see the light. Should keep it quiet though; you don’t want to upset our Canadian Chef Ramsay here…
I really want the ninja but Ive ran out of counter space and my ikea island doesnt come in a bigger size.
Carrots are the acid test…they never demonstrate dicing carrots.
Brian: Oh man, I have bought some junk in my day but this one has to be right up there on the top of the pile!
On my first use at trying to chip a spud, the leg broke off. Quick repair job later and I tried to clean it. Yeah, that’s not easy at all. So I had a wee go at a carrot after that thinking that a spud was just too much. Nope, the carrot was a bad experience too. Thought to myself that sure this can not be right so started to play around with the blade setting again. Now this thing comes with no instruction booklet, they were on the outside of the badly battered box that it arrived in, from Mars it seems as it took almost 4 weeks to get here.
The Missus bought one of these a couple of weeks back, anything fresh in there and you literally need to beat the hell out of it to get it to dice.

Saw that. I’m just going to assume he/she’s some sausage fingered gorilla that beat the shit out of it. There’s always one.
Random youtube vid that shows carrots:
Multiple carrots, impressive. I have to say it does look a tad more efficient than ours.
Oh yeah those things suck ass. Dull blades that bend with pressure. The only similar thing I’ve had that was decent was this:
and it’s not even that good.
That guy I posted has some pretty useful vids BTW. He uses stuff for a year and then posts updates. Particularly useful for non-stick pans.
Broke down and bought the Ninja Foodi Grill 5 in 1. Will be here Monday.
