[Dwitter.net](http://Dwitter.net) is a challenge to see what awesomeness you can create when limited to only 140 characters of javascript and a canvas. Give it a go!

It was created by [u/lionleaf](https://www.dwitter.net/u/lionleaf) as a side project inspired by the concept of [u/sigveseb](https://www.dwitter.net/u/sigveseb) at [arkt.is/t](http://arkt.is/t/Yy53aWR0aD0yZTM7dCo9Mzt4LnRyYW5zbGF0ZSg5ODAsNDUwKTtmb3IoaT0wO2k8MzIyOyl4LmZpbGxTdHlsZT1SKGkpLHgucm90YXRlKCFpKkModC09LjAzKSshKGkrKyU0KSpTKHQpLzkrMS41NykseC5maWxsUmVjdCg1KmksNSppLDk5LDk5KQ==) ([github](https://github.com/sigvef/arktis-tweet-demo)). Its first official launch was at the Demoparty ‘Solskogen’ in 2016 where it won [the wild compo.](http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=67794)

The website itself is open source, and is being developed by a number of [contributors](https://github.com/lionleaf/dwitter/graphs/contributors). We are happy to accept pull requests and issues on [github](https://github.com/lionleaf/dwitter).
Check out the [issue tracker](https://github.com/lionleaf/dwitter/issues) for previous suggestions and discussions.

Please join us in the [discord chat](https://discord.gg/emHe6cP) to hang out, ask for coding help, or discuss anything 😃 If you don’t know where to start and want to learn, this is the perfect place to start. See you there!
