See… any other person would be trying to bury such a candid interview. Not Trump, he doubles down. I don’t think he’s eloquent… but I believe he’s honest because he has no filter (in so much as he’s relaying things he’s been told by people he trusts).
That being said, I don’t think he’s the right choice for the next president. We need an executive that is a better communicator, but will still be willing to make hard decisions based on the information s/he has. The GOP really needs to get out of the way (because most of them are establishment… especially the turtle). Trey Gowdy I like, De Santos is like a can of Trump Lite… which may work, but I can’t identify the right candidate (and even then, could they survive another of the most secure elections in American history?)
I believe (full on opinion mode here), if the person who got the second most votes ever in a presidential election was in office now, we would not be in the financial or security state we are in now, Ukraine would not be in war and China would not be threatening Taiwan or the US.
Biden has done more harm to the country in a year than Carter did in three, and I truly hope we stay out of the European/Asian war that is starting. I have no interest in the Ukraine. I have no interest in Taiwan, I have no interest in Japan, I have no interest in Sweden or Norway. I’ve paid taxes all my life to support the defense of those countries, but I will not support sacrificing our young men in a war (sounds sexist… but females are not eligible for the draft, and if they were they just need to get pregnant to be disqualified).
Plus I don’t think anyone else would call out Germany and Japan re-building their military forces as problematic… but history can’t be ignored.

Anyone with integrity, morals and intelligence would never run for Federal political office in this age. 2/3 is the best I can hope for… Biden, Pelosi and Harris are shining examples that none are required.
