I guess it depends on whether you care about the work that went into producing a piece. Personally I see it as disposable, it takes zero skill in the traditional sense, though i’m sure it will be responsible for many a laundered pound note.

It’s mainly taking from existing pieces that some people have spent a long time on. I’ve seen scrambled watermarks from Getty images; once people know it’s AI, it’s then worthless. Having said that, if AI becomes that smart that it gets to be a seemingly living creature like Data from Star Trek, I’m definitely intrigued as to what that would be like.
