Truth. I was fascinated more with the quartz and mica formations in the rubble around Mt. Rushmore than I was about the monument.

Mt Rushmore and Devils Tower would be shit without the rocks!
OK Close Encounters of the third time made devils tower cool but trying to crawl under over and around all those rocks to get to that ledge were he first saw the alien craft was amazing.
